Ilsensine is a Mind Flayer deity, who normally dwells in a vast maze in the Outlands. Any who approach the center of its territory are slowly drained of all thought and knowledge until they
become empty husks. Pleasant!
Gzemnid, who lives quite nearby, is a patron deity of beholders. Not the happy, apple-eating kind, though.
